Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical design, robotics, automation or related engineering experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and engineering drawings.
• Experience integrating hardware components and electromechanical systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, assemblies and components for robotic platforms.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings and documentation.
• Perform analyses, tolerance studies and design trade-offs for performance and manufacturability.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, sensor and control components into assemblies.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, controls and manufacturing teams.
• Support prototype builds, testing and validation activities.
• Develop and execute test plans for durability, reliability and environment testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root-cause analyses.
• Participate in DFx initiatives and design-for-manufacturing efforts.
• Manage engineering documentation, BOMs and configuration data.
