Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a hands-on Applied Engineer to scale robotics foundation model training, collaborating with researchers, engineers and customers to move workloads from experimentation to production.

You will optimize end-to-end training workflows for robotics models, run multi-GPU training, and help shape Physical AI platforms such as Cosmos and GR00T, with equity and benefits. Applications accepted through Aug 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD or equivalent in CS/AI/EE/Robotics.
• 5+ years in deep learning or large-scale model training.
• Hands-on experience with multimodal or foundation models in robotics.
• Experience with distributed training on multi-GPU/multi-node systems.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, NVIDIA NeMo, JAX or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize end-to-end training workflows for robotics foundation models.
• Build proof-of-concepts, reference architectures, and agentic workflows.
• Scale pre-training, fine-tuning, and RL workloads across multi-GPU/multi-node systems.
• Identify and eliminate data pipeline bottlenecks for multimodal datasets.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape Physical AI platforms.
