Job summary

NGV Talent is seeking Robot Technicians to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support warehouse robotic systems. This role blends mechanical and electrical repair with Linux-based software troubleshooting, and involves working with engineering teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with robotics or automation equipment, strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills, and comfort with Linux command-line tools. Onsite work in New Jersey may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing robots, automation systems, or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Comfortable using multimeters, hand tools, torque tools, soldering equipment, and electrical crimping tools.
• Basic Linux command-line experience and ability to run predefined scripts.
• Ability to review logs and follow technical procedures precisely.
• Strong written and verbal communication and detail orientation.
• Ability to work independently and with customers and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support robotic fleets in warehouse environments.
• Commission, test, configure, and debug robotic systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Diagnose failures and perform routine maintenance.
• Use Linux commands to review logs and run diagnostics scripts.
• Flash firmware and perform basic software configuration.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve complex issues.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs with standard tools.
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
