Job summary

Beyondsoft is seeking a Robotics Field Engineer to support deployments at Cedar Rapids, IA and Sandston, VA. You will work with client system engineers, logistics teams, and other Field Deployment engineers to deploy robots, handle data entry, analysis, and post-activity tasks.

The role is full-time with comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT, have basic Linux experience, and proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• Experience of Linux command line (at least understands basics).
• Basic ability to troubleshoot complex software / hardware configuration problems.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage continuously changing business needs; excellent time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential hazards
• Provide training and guidance to robotics operators, technicians, and other stakeholders on safe operating procedures and best practices
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety considerations into robotics design, development, and deployment
• Service robotics equipment and ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Provisioning new robotics equipment and repositioning equipment across the data centers as needed. Enforcing tug utilization standards (how many racks = robotics needed)
