Job summary

SGLN Technologies Inc, Santa Rosa, CA, is seeking an experienced robotics engineer to identify automation opportunities and lead the design, programming, and deployment of cobot cells and AMRs on live manufacturing lines.

You'll integrate robots, sensors and vision with existing equipment, mentor junior staff, and coordinate pilots and scaling while ensuring safety, quality and throughput goals are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, Robotics, EE, ME, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in industrial automation or robotics in live manufacturing.
• Strong software and mechanical engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize manufacturing processes suitable for automation.
• Design, program, integrate and commission cobot cells for multiple tasks.
• Deploy autonomous mobile robots for material movement and routing.
• Own design delivery from concept through production hand-off and validation.
• Integrate robots, sensors, vision, end-effectors with existing lines.
• Mentor engineers and operators while staying hands-on and solving problems.
• Evaluate vendors, run pilots and scale successful automation deployments.
