LUDO ROBOTICS is a Bay Area‑based startup building general‑purpose robotic intelligence systems. This Robotics Engineer role involves bringing software to life and bridging foundation models with real hardware for robust, real‑world deployment.

You will work across navigation, SLAM, perception, manipulation, and high‑level behaviours, writing production‑level code and validating on physical robots while collaborating with ML and robotics engineers to optimize systems.

Qualifikationen

• BS/MS in CS, Robotics, Electrical or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years hands-on robotics application development, system integration, or field deployment.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience deploying software on real robots.
• Working knowledge of ROS/ROS2 or other robotics middleware platforms.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and deploy software for robotic systems across navigation, motion planning, SLAM, perception, manipulation, and high-level behaviours.
• Write and maintain production‑level C++ and Python code for robotic platforms.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and compute; lead hardware bring‑up, calibration, and validation on real robots.
• Deploy, integrate, and monitor robotic solutions in production environments and at field sites.
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug robotic applications across hardware, software, and model layers.
