Job summary

Infi Robotics in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a hands-on robotics engineer to build robotic cells that reliably assemble products on the factory floor. You will work across manipulation, teleoperation, perception, control, and hardware integration, selecting practical approaches to achieve robust performance.

Your work will focus on turning tasks into repeatable robotic workflows, integrating arms, grippers, cameras, and force sensing; building demonstrations and evaluation workflows;

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and debugging physical robots or automation systems.
• Deep expertise in manipulation, controls, perception, teleoperation, or robot learning.
• Proficient Python and C++ in a Linux environment; strong debugging skills.
• Understanding calibration, coordinate frames, and kinematics.

Responsibilities

• Turn assembly tasks into repeatable robotic workflows, deciding where manual work, teleoperation, and autonomy make sense.
• Integrate and debug arms, grippers, cameras, and force sensing; develop manipulation behaviors.
• Build demonstration and evaluation workflows and adapt learned policies for manufacturing needs.
• Improve task success and cycle time using production data with clear failure recovery and safe operation.
