Forvia is seeking a Robotics Engineer to support development, validation, and deployment of advanced automation across North American manufacturing facilities. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in robotics, automation, or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, etc.).
- Background in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Experience working with automation suppliers or integrators.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine robotic process concepts for assembly and material handling applications.
- Define requirements for robotic systems, end‑of‑arm tooling (EOAT), and cycle time and efficiency optimization.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and proof‑of‑concept validation.
- Collaborate with suppliers and integrators to evaluate and improve solutions.
- Contribute to standardization of automation solutions across plants.
