Job Title: Robotics Debug Engineer – Fulltime | TCS

About the Role

TCS is hiring a Robotics Debug Engineer to join an onsite team in Cupertino, CA. You will be responsible for hands-on debugging of robotic systems, including robotic arms and custom-built hardware. This is a highly collaborative, technically focused role supporting the deployment and QA of advanced robotic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Debug robotic arms and other in-house robotic systems (hardware & software)
• Assemble, QA test, and troubleshoot robotic components in deployment environments
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues (e.g., power supply, connectivity)
• Collaborate with Robotics Engineers to support assembly, testing, and debugging
• Operate robotic systems and execute debugging scripts (Python preferred)
• Ensure seamless system integration from assembly through live testing

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in robotics, system integration, or hardware debugging
• Strong experience in mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting
• Familiarity with robotic platforms (including ROS)
• Ability to operate and debug robotic arms and hardware interfaces
• Experience with Python scripting preferred
• Master’s or PhD candidates with strong practical robotics experience are welcome
