Job summary

Stealth Startup is seeking a Control Systems / Embedded Software Engineer to join our robotics engineering team. This role blends software and hardware, developing embedded control systems with hands-on debugging and system integration.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for robotic systems using C, C++, and Python on embedded Linux, building ROS applications, device drivers, and real-time control algorithms, while interfacing with motors, sensors, and communication

Qualifications

5+ years of professional embedded software or control systems experience.
Strong C, C++, and Python programming skills.
Experience with ROS and Linux environments.
Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control.
Experience with real-time embedded systems and control algorithms.
Hardware experience: motors, sensors, and embedded debugging tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for robotic systems.
Develop software in C, C++, and Python for embedded Linux.
Design and implement real-time control algorithms.
Build and maintain device drivers and board support packages.
Develop applications using ROS.
Debug and integrate complex robotic systems across software, electrical, and mechanical domains.
Interface with motors, sensors, and communication peripherals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain Git history.
Produce documentation for software architecture, testing, and implementation.
