Job summary

Kelly Engineering seeks an Operations Process Engineer for a long-term contract in Santa Clara. This hands-on role supports capital system production, integrating robotic subsystems, troubleshooting test issues, and ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. Requires 0–4 years of related engineering experience and on-site work availability.

The position offers full benefits and onsite work with cross-functional collaboration across Manufacturing, Test, Quality, NPI, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 0-4 years of relevant engineering experience. Internship, co-op, academic project, research, or laboratory experience may be considered.
• Hands-on experience with engineering testing, system integration, scripting, or technical troubleshooting through academic or professional work.
• Ability to interpret test results and systematically troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level failures.
• Basic scripting experience, preferably with Python, and the ability to read and debug scripts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Test and System Integration Support: ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Test Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: investigate manufacturing test failures, troubleshoot hardware/software/system interfaces, document findings and propose corrective actions.
• Quality and Compliance: support change controls, CAPAs, NCRs, and related quality system activities.
