Job summary

Origami Robotics in San Francisco is seeking a software-focused engineer to own end-to-end robotics data and training infrastructure. You’ll enable reproducible experiments, traceable models, and reliable rollouts across sensors, storage, and compute.

You’ll build pipelines from robot rollouts to multimodal datasets, create tooling for replay and visualization, and maintain dashboards and checkpoints to accelerate research.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and comfort working in C++.
• Experience building reliable data, ML, or distributed systems used by other engineers.
• Experience designing observable, reproducible workflows for multimodal or time-series data.
• Ability to own and debug systems spanning robot software, sensors, networking, storage, and compute.

Responsibilities

• Own critical parts of the learning pipeline and make experiments reproducible and model traceable.
• Build reproducible training infrastructure for launching jobs, tracking experiments, and model lineage.
• Build physical evaluation systems with repeatable task runners, tests, and dashboards.
