Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a hands-on Robotics & Controls Engineer to program ABB robots, develop Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 PLC code, and integrate the two systems on the manufacturing floor.

Lead automation projects from development to production commissioning, configure EtherCAT networks, troubleshoot faults, and optimize sequencing and recovery.

This on-site role requires close collaboration with mechanical and electrical teams and a proactive, methodical approach to delivering reliable automation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ABB robot programming required.
• Strong ABB RAPID programming experience.
• Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 experience.
• PLC programming in Structured Text.
• Experience configuring EtherCAT networks.
• Ability to integrate robots, PLCs, sensors and actuators.
• On-floor commissioning and troubleshooting of automation cells.
• Read electrical schematics and understand industrial controls.

Responsibilities

• Program and commission ABB robots on the shop floor.
• Develop Beckhoff PLC code and integrate with ABB robots.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automated cells in production.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to resolve failures.
• Validate systems start-up and production readiness.
