Job summary

Impact Kids in California is seeking a Robotics Instructor to lead robotics, coding and technology instruction for children aged 4 to 18. You will create engaging, hands-on lessons and supervise students in a safe, supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years working with children and hands-on robotics/coding teaching experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. You will collaborate with fellow instructors, communicate clearly with students and parents, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children.
• Robotics, programming & coding instructor experience (1–5 years minimum).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• The Robotics Instructor is responsible for supervising students and providing robotics, coding and technology instruction in a safe, engaging environment.
• Create and implement daily robotics, programming, coding and technology instruction for students aged 4–18 with varying ability levels.
• Group supervision with focus on behavior, health and safety, security, and personal and skill development.
• Ensure the safety of students and team members.
• Organize and prepare daily plans in a fun and creative manner.
• Use effective classroom management to lead activities and foster an inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with fellow Activity Specialists, serving as a positive role model.
• Follow the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and uphold company policies and core values.
