Job summary

1st St. NW Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an Electrical Technician to build control panels from prints and schematics, wire and troubleshoot components for automation and CNC equipment, and route/terminate power wiring.

You will assemble robotic system components and diagnose issues in automation machinery. The ideal candidate has experience with panel building, reading schematics, and familiarity with PLCs and safety codes (NEC/UL).

Qualifications

Experience with electrical functions and panel building.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Experience with control panel wiring, sensors, relays and servo systems.
Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Understanding of NEC, UL and electrical safety codes.

Responsibilities

Build electrical control panels from prints/schematics.
Wire, assemble and troubleshoot electrical components for automate, robotics and CNC machinery.
Route/terminate power and control wiring.
Assemble robotic and automation system components.
Diagnose/repair electrical issues in automation and CNC machinery.
Support engineers in debugging PLC-based and HMI-driven automation systems.
