Job summary

Cindavi in Warren, Michigan is seeking an Automation & Robotics Specialist to bring partially developed systems to full plant readiness, optimize performance, and hand off to production teams.

You will work with engineers, maintenance, and suppliers to launch, integrate, and stabilize automation, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, vision, and safety systems, in a high-volume automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering.

Responsibilities

• Launch, integrate, commission, and stabilize automated manufacturing equipment.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, industrial robots, vision systems, conveyance, motion, safety systems, and torque tools.
• Improve cycle time, throughput, quality, uptime, robot paths, sequencing, alarms, interlocks, and recovery routines.
• Apply structured root-cause analysis to eliminate repeat failures and deliver sustainable corrective actions.
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, production, suppliers, and integrators, then train sustainment teams and complete a reliable handoff.
