Job summary

Accenture seeks a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program and deploy industrial robots, AMRs/AGVs, and related automation in manufacturing, warehousing and logistics environments.

You will integrate robots with PLCs, MES, WMS and ERP, develop control logic in ROS/ROS 2, Python or C++, and support safety assessments and production-ready testing. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant robotics automation experience.
• Hands-on with at least one industrial robot or cobot such as FANUC/ABB/KUKA.
• Robotics fundamentals: coordinates, kinematics, motion, sensors, safety.
• Experience integrating robotics with automation software or processes.
• Ability to read drawings and troubleshoot across hardware and software.
• Awareness of Physical AI lifecycle, simulation, and orchestration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 12 years' work exp. (associate 6+ years).

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots and AMRs/AGVs.
• Integrate robots with conveyors, safety systems, PLCs, MES and ERP.
• Develop robot programs and interfaces using ROS, Python or C++.
• Support safety, layout validation and tooling specs with engineering partners.
• Use digital twins/simulation for offline programming and testing.
• Triage hardware/software issues during commissioning and support.
• Document robot programs, interfaces and runbooks.
