Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program and deploy robotic systems across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics environments. You will integrate robots with sensors, PLCs, MES/ERP and orchestration platforms while ensuring safety and reliability from simulation to production.

The role requires hands-on robotics experience, strong programming skills in Python and C++, and familiarity with ROS/ROS 2, with travel up to 75% as part of customer deployments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in robotics automation, robot programming, controls integration, AMR/AGV deployment or autonomous systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one industrial robot, cobot or mobile-robot ecosystem (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots).
• Understanding of robotics fundamentals including coordinate frames, kinematics, motion, sensors and safe operation.
• Experience integrating robotics with automation equipment, software or operational processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot across hardware and software in operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots, collaborative robots, AMRs/AGVs and related automation.
• Integrate robots with end effectors, conveyors, safety systems and ERP/MES/WMS interfaces.
• Develop robot programs and interfaces using OEM tools, ROS/ROS 2, Python or C++.
• Perform safety assessments, layout validation and equipment selection with partners.
• Conduct commissioning, testing and post-go-live support for robotic systems.
