eTeam in the United States is seeking a Robotics Automation Engineer (Research and Early Development) to prototype and integrate motion control and robotics systems, leveraging machine vision for calibration.
You will work within an agile research engineering team, conduct simulations and tests, and iterate designs based on feedback to meet project objectives. Prototyping, testing, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.
This is a onsite position for a Robotics Automation Engineer (Research and Early Development).
Bachelor in Engineering (Robotic's Preferred)
Note: We are looking for, primarily in prototyping integrating motion control and robotics systems, use of machine vision for calibration, and general robotics/physical AI.
Applies diversified knowledge of design principles, practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments. General responsibilities include concept generation, prototyping, detailed design and testing to assess performance against project objectives. Works as part of an agile research engineering team, making independent decisions and exercising technical judgment to achieve generally defined project goals. Iterates designs based on feedback and user testing.
Applies advanced engineering knowledge to research projects, typically related to process automation and integration.
Participates in defining new components, products or processes, typically for pathology lab applications.
Creates potentially patentable components for systems, or processes.
Receives general direction and exercises considerable discretion as to work details.
Performs simulations, analyses and experiments to test hypotheses related to project outcomes.
Designs, builds and tests prototype hardware and software systems to achieve defined goals.
Prepares and delivers presentations of project results to others; presents data to diverse audiences.
Participates in project planning as part of a cross functional agile technical team.
