Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a PhD or master's degree program in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Software Engineering, or related fields, in the United States.
• Exposure to automation, robotics, with full-cell robotics simulation.
• Experience with 3D CAD software such as Solidworks or AutoCAD.
• Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim, BlenderProc, or other simulation software.
• Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse.
• Experience with ABB RobotStudio a plus.
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Conduct robot simulation using RobotStudio HyperRealism.
• Develop complex AI and simulation for industrial deployment at scale.
• Strike the perfect balance between fidelity and computational complexity.
• Contribute to closing the sim-to-real gap.
• Reduce dependence on physical prototypes.
• Make simulation an indispensable part of our design, development and deployment process.
• Generate photorealistic synthetic datasets in 2D, 3D and video sequences for AI and robotics applications.
