Job summary

Mind Robotics is building generalized physical AI for industrial use. We seek a Research & Modeling Engineer to train core models that power our robotic systems on real hardware, bridging foundation models with real-world execution.

You will own data-to-deployment pipelines, work hands-on with robots, and drive scalable infrastructure for training and evaluation in production environments.

Qualifications

• Built and trained large-scale models (LLMs, VLMs, or robotics models).
• Deep understanding of modern ML training dynamics and optimization.
• Experience with data pipelines and distributed systems for large-scale training.
• Ability to deploy from data to real robots in production environments.
• Domain strength in robotics, VLA systems, or related AI for robotics.

Responsibilities

• Design and run large-scale training pipelines for multimodal/robotics models.
• Own the full loop: data → training → evaluation → deployment on robots.
• Develop scalable infrastructure for data ingestion, training, and iteration.
• Translate model outputs into reliable robotic actions and behavior.
• Work hands-on with robots to debug, iterate, and improve performance.
• Define data strategy and evaluation frameworks for real-world tasks.
