Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Robotic Technician to operate cobots and robotic welding cells on the Milwaukee, WI site. You will set up programs, perform adjustments, and ensure safe, efficient metal fabrication with a focus on quality and throughput.

The role requires hands-on welding experience, familiarity with robotic systems, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary-to-hire position onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree, welding certification, or related education preferred.
• 2-5 years of welding, fabrication, robotic welding, automation, or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate COBOTS and robotic welding cells to support daily production requirements.
• Perform setup, changeovers, and basic parameter adjustments for robotic welding programs.
• Load, unload, and position components in robotic fixtures and weld cells.
• Monitor welding operations for quality and production standard compliance.
• Troubleshoot welding issues including weld quality, wire feed, torch, and sensor faults.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on welding equipment and tooling.
