Job summary

Allied Steel Buildings is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor robotic welding systems and automated fabrication equipment to produce structural steel beams, components, and assemblies. The role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a production floor.

The position offers 1st-3rd shift options and Allied benefit packages with potential overtime based on production demands.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fabrication equipment, 2+ years preferred.
• Reading blueprints and shop drawings required.
• Ability to read weld symbols and fabrication details.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding systems and automated fabrication equipment.
• Set up machines, tooling, and robotic programs based on specs.
• Fabricate structural steel beams and assemblies including layout.
• Load, align, and secure beams for welding.
• Monitor welding quality and coordinate with teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and document outputs.
