Job summary

Lincoln Electric Automation in Fort Collins is seeking an experienced robotics programmer to lead offline and online programming of ABB and Fanuc robots for welding applications. You will develop weld processes, set up engineered systems, and work with cross-functional teams to meet standards.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years in robotic welding, and ability to read electrical/mechanical prints and weld symbols. Proficiency with CAD and MS Office plus up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with GMAW welding processes.
• 3+ years programming ABB and/or Fanuc robots for industrial welding.
• Ability to read electrical prints and mechanical prints.
• Ability to read weld symbols.
• Proficiency with CAD and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily and weekly scheduled tasks.
• Coordinate off-line programming and on-line implementation of programming.
• Develop robot welding processes for customer parts.
• Ensure project deliverables meet design specifications.
• Integrate robotic welding systems into production.
• Provide backup support for technical project tasks.
• Represent Lincoln Electric with customers, consultants and contractors.
• Promote continual improvement in processes and procedures.
