• Hands-on MIG, GMAW and FCAW welding across materials and positions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment with high autonomy.
• Strong documentation, welding processes, and reporting for certification.
• Willingness to build processes from scratch in first-of-kind applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine motion paths for the welding humanoid robot.
• Optimize weld parameters (voltage, amperage, shielding gas) to minimize distortion and maximize penetration.
• Collaborate with governing bodies to develop standards and certification for the humanoid robot.
• Identify sensors and tooling needed for welding tasks.
• Translate welding domain knowledge into requirements for perception, manipulation, and controls teams.
