Job summary

Door Engineering, a Senneca Brand, is seeking welders for our Mankato facility to ensure quality and production standards are met. The role focuses on welding with exposure to robotic welding processes on 1st shift (6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Mon-Thu with OT possible on Fridays).

Applicants should have 2+ years welding/fabrication experience, read blueprints effectively, and be able to lift 25–50 pounds. Certification in D1 or ability to pass is preferred, along with strong teamwork and safety

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding equipment or programming is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years welding or fabrication experience preferred.
• D1 welding certification (or ability to pass test) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, drawings, and project specifications prior to production.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the welding process.
• Maintain proper documentation related to welding operations and production output.
• Work closely with production teams and leadership to meet manufacturing schedules.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and SOPs.
• Assist in improving robotic welding processes and efficiencies when possible.
