What you will be doing as a ROBOTIC WELDER:
- Responsible for product quality, workmanship and process applications consistent with the company's manufacturing objectives.
- Follows safety guidelines and monitors use of safety devices, equipment, departmental housekeeping, and maintain constant alert for hazardous conditions.
- Maintain conformance with Company work rules and regulations.
- Trained and certified for all welding operations, methods and processes.
- Operational and Setup knowledge of automated and robotic weld cells.
- Operational and Setup knowledge of resistance welders.
- Knowledgeable on Welding Specification requirements, print reading, and weld evaluation techniques.
- Weld process, automated fixture and machine trouble shooting skills.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What it takes to be a ROBOTIC WELDER with MEC:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one year related experience and/or training is preferred.
- Ability to train and work with others (Team Concept).
- Ability to do basic math.
- Be able to lift and move 50 pounds.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Displays ethical behavior and acts with integrity.
- Reliability.
