Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking an experienced Welder/Robotic Operator to join our production team. The role involves operating robotic welders, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet specifications through precise measurements.

You will handle plasma and oxy-fuel burning equipment, assist training, and contribute to quality control while maintaining safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year welding and part fit-up experience.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Demonstrated understanding of AWS symbols.
• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
• Overtime availability of 10+ hours per week when needed.
• Robotics computer knowledge in software and hardware applications.
• Attention to detail with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welders and adjust settings per specifications.
• Diagnose malfunctions on automated systems.
• Inspect and measure parts to ensure conformance to specs.
• Operate production tooling, plasma and oxy/acetylene burning equipment.
• Weld production, prototype, and new designs.
• Assist in training less experienced welders.
• Record labor and parts with accuracy and perform quality checks.
• Communicate effectively with team and management.
