- Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm
- Pay Range: Up to $31.00/hour (depending on experience, skill set, and shift schedule)
- Program, set up, and operate both automatic MIG welding and robotic welding machines.
- Identify potential issues with fixtures and make necessary adjustments.
- Determine and build sequences from drawings.
- Write and edit weld programs for new and existing parts.
- Train new employees or introduce new work in machine operations, material usage, quality standards, and production standards.
- Perform visual or instrument-based inspections during operations; train employees in quality and inspection procedures and review results with Quality Control.
- Perform all duties as per lower-level welding job responsibilities.
- Troubleshoot processes and equipment with technical support.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a metal fabrication environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production robotic welding.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in robotic weld programming.
- Experience with lifting devices (forklift, crane, hoist, etc.).
- Welding certifications required.
- Proficiency in math, measurement, geometry, and reading blueprints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding).
- Knowledge of seam tracking, touch sensing, Shoplogix data entry, ERP systems.
- Leadership experience and training capabilities.
Physical and Mental Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and handle objects; lift up to 50 lbs.; work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and temperature variations.
Working Environment
Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations, requiring PPE.
