Job summary

Production Products, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift welder in Columbus Grove, OH to join our manufacturing team. You will support production by setting up and operating welding equipment to meet efficiency goals and quality standards.

You will perform weld repairs and adjustments, participate in continuous improvement, and comply with safety and environmental requirements. Travel flexibility and commitment to high-quality workmanship are essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass weld qualification test to Ford weld specs.
• Requires operator to wear extra PPE such as weld helmet and gloves.
• Able to lift up to and including 50 pounds.
• Must be flexible and willing to travel.
• High regard to quality and takes pride in their work.
• Meet minimum qualifications as contained in the PPI selection process.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Good understanding of GMAW.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Team members must be able to stand on concrete floor for the duration of work shift, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor, and use arms and hands. The team member must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and repetitively lift 10 – 20 pounds to a height of 48 inches. Visual precision is needed for reading documents, machine dial gauges, and possibly blueprints and precision measuring instruments.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Stamping and assembly factory environment, and subject to high noise levels from operational machines and physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
