WEBCO MFG is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator to join the team on the Day shift (M-F, 7am–3:30pm). The role emphasizes programming (10%) and operating (90%) automated welding robots to boost production capacity and quality.

You will collaborate with engineering and maintenance to optimize welds, transfer new products, and train teammates; prior robotics/welding experience is preferred, with a strong problem-solving mindset and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Robotic Welding or related role preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of robotics and welding.
• Excellent creativity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to engage in advanced mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Programming (10%) and operating (90%) automated welding robots.
• Provide general programming and engineering support to robotic welding operations.
• Optimize current welding programs to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Follow defined weld schedules.
• Increase robotic weld utilization by transitioning manual welding to robotic cells.
• Work with customers and business team to transfer new products to robots.
• Fixture design to enable flexible welding of production parts.
• Provide training and documentation to ensure proficiency of welding team.
• Partner with maintenance to define preventative maintenance schedules.
