Job summary

Webco Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator for a Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. The role focuses on programming (10%) and operating (90%) automated welding robots to boost production capacity.

You will support welding operations, optimize programs, and transfer new products to robotic cells while ensuring quality and cycle-time improvements. We value problem-solving, robotics knowledge, and the ability to work with customers and the business team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Robotic Welding or related role preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of robotics and welding.
• Creativity, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to engage in advanced mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Programming (10%) and operating (90%) automated welding robots.
• Provide general programming and engineering support to robotic welding operations.
• Optimize current robotic welding programs to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Follow defined weld schedules.
• Increase robotic weld utilization by transitioning manual welding to robotic cells.
• Collaborate with customers and the business team to transfer new products to robotic equipment.
• Design fixtures to enable productive and flexible welding of parts.
• Provide training and documentation to ensure proficiency of welding team.
• Work with maintenance to define preventative maintenance schedules.
