Webco Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Robotic Weld Operator to join our team for a day shift (7am–3:30pm). The role focuses on programming (10%) and operating (90%) automated welding robots to boost production capacity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Robotic Welding or related role.
• In-depth knowledge of robotics and welding.
• Excellent creativity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to engage in advanced mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Programming and operating automated welding robots.
• Provide programming and engineering support to robotic welding operations.
• Optimize current welding programs to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
• Follow defined weld schedules.
• Increase robotic weld utilization by transitioning manual welding to robotic cells.
• Collaborate with customers and the business team to transfer new products to robotic welding equipment.
• Design fixtures to enable productive and flexible welding of parts.
• Provide training and documentation to ensure welding team proficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance for proper preventive maintenance.
