Job summary

Camaco LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain robotic weld cell equipment, ensuring efficient and quality welding applications on the plant floor. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot automated weld cells, set up robotic and resistance weld operations, read electrical schematics, and support Weld Engineers to minimize downtime.

Assist in operator training and document parameter changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus formal training leading to Journeyman status in Machine Repair.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems to diagnose and repair machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot automated weld cells and equipment.
• Set-up of robotic and resistance weld operations and Poke-yoke apparatus.
• Fixture modification and adjustment.
• Operate and program robotic weld cells.
• Assist in the training of operators on all weld cell operations.
• Read electrical schematics and other documents to diagnose and repair machinery.
• Verify and document changes to process parameters.
• Assist Weld Engineers to eliminate downtime and perform root cause analysis with Engineering Teams.
