Job summary

UPG Electrical in Monroe, WI is seeking a Weld Cell Operator to support manufacturing by setting up and running robotic and manual welding equipment. You will perform changeovers, monitor quality, and help ensure finished parts meet customer specifications and production requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating automated welding equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate robotic and manual welding equipment per schedules and quality requirements.
• Perform weld cell changeovers and wire replacements as needed.
• Load components into fixtures and monitor production for quality and productivity.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers and gauges and read blueprints/QA documents.
• Maintain production records and document discrepancies in ERP system.
• Follow safety policies and 5S housekeeping standards.
