Job summary
Highmark Health in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an experienced urologist to provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions. The role includes performance of radical and reconstructive procedures using minimally invasive and robotic techniques, with opportunities to develop subspecialty interests in oncology, stone disease, BPH, and female pelvic medicine.
The candidate will be involved with AHN’s Urology Residency program and will benefit from a competitive benefits package
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Urology Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
- Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure.
- DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privileges.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical management of urologic conditions.
- Perform a broad range of procedures, including prostatectomy, cystectomy, bladder tumor resections, nephrectomy, and urodynamic testing.
- Utilize advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgical technology.
- Develop or expand subspecialty interests in urologic oncology, stone disease, BPH, reconstructive urology, men’s health, and female pelvic medicine.
- Involvement with AHN’s Urology Residency program.
