MercyOne Cancer Center is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified Surgical Oncologist to join our team and lead advanced surgical management for solid tumors in central Iowa. The role includes collaboration with medical and radiation oncologists, radiology, pathology, and nurses to deliver patient-centered care using minimally invasive and robotic techniques.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained, board-certified Surgical Oncologist.
• Collaborative physician with interest in innovation and expansion of cancer services.
• Experience in multidisciplinary care models and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead surgical management of solid tumors including GI, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and soft tissue cancers.
• Utilize minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques.
• Collaborate with medical/radiation oncology and other specialists to plan patient care.
