Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking an experienced Paint Assistant Manager to lead the startup and ongoing operation of a new manufacturing facility in McDonough, GA. You will oversee robotic painting processes, mentor technicians, and drive process improvements to ensure high quality finishes while maintaining safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automated robotic painting systems and robot teaching/programming.
• Strong knowledge of industrial paint application processes and spray equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting paint defects and adjusting parameters.
• Ability to lead and coordinate production activities in manufacturing.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily painting operations across first and second shifts to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
• Provide technical guidance and support to paint technicians and production staff.
• Support startup activities, equipment commissioning, process validation, and SOP development.
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to maintain efficient paint operations.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements in productivity, quality, and equipment reliability.
