AXCS Equipment in West Bend, WI, is seeking a welding operator to join our manufacturing team. Under supervision, you will operate robotic welding equipment to build high quality parts and assemblies, load/unload, and verify weld integrity to meet prints.

You will also use MIG welding, inspect parts, and perform basic troubleshooting. Some light saws, ironworker, and drill press work may be required, with focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience welding in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to read measurement devices (tape measure, squares, etc.).
• Preferred ability to read and comprehend detailed drawings and work orders.

Responsabilités

• Operate robotic welding equipment to produce assemblies and parts, load/unload, inspect weld quality, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Operate MIG welding equipment with proper torch angle.
• Produce parts per print and labor standards to meet production goals.
• Monitor robot operation to detect defects or malfunctions and report issues.
• Set up and operate saws, ironworker, and drill presses as required.
• Tack-weld parts for final welding and grind burrs and excess welds as needed.
• Position and clamp components prior to welding and inspect parts for conformance to print.
• Maintain a clean, safe 5S-compliant workspace and document production data.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth production flow and safety.
