Job summary

voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation in Shelbyville, KY, is hiring a Secondary Weld Operator for a regular full-time shift (1st shift 6:00AM - 4:30PM Monday to Thursday). You will produce welded components using robotic welding and MIG welding equipment while contributing to a safe, quality-focused production environment.

Responsibilities include fixture setup, MIG welding, loading parts, inspection, and finishing.

Qualifications

• Ability to work open shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and experience with this.
• Able to work in environment where welding (flash lighting) occurs.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding and MIG welding equipment to complete welds on product.
• Load/unload parts into robotic weld fixtures and inspect finished work.
• Set up jigs/fixtures and run welding operations per instructions.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and keep records.
