Qualifications

• Welding experience and ability to weld according to blueprints/work instructions.
• Ability to operate both manual and robotic welding equipment.
• Good safety awareness and use of PPE.
• Ability to read and follow welding instructions and quality standards.
• Ability to handle materials and use overhead cranes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Layout parts in jigs using tape measures, clamps, and squares for welding.
• Tack weld parts to prepare for final welds and ensure clean finish.
• Weld components using MIG, Pulse, or robotic techniques to produce strong welds.
• Safely operate handheld and electric tools following safety protocols.
• Follow work and welding instructions to meet quality and production standards.
• Identify misfits and ensure proper assembly in jigs and adjoining parts.
• Operate overhead cranes or hoists as required for welding.
• Visualize final product during welding to ensure precision.
• Assemble welded parts according to specifications.
• Be open to performing other duties as assigned.
