Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Rochester, NY, seeks an Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon to perform joint replacement and revision surgeries, restore mobility, and lead innovative care within a physician-led system.

You will collaborate with surgical leaders to build a regional center of excellence, mentor residents and fellows, and work with rehabilitation specialists to deliver patient-centered care. A fellowship in adult reconstruction is preferred and NYSED licensure plans are expected.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery; plan to certify within five years of hire.
• Physician licensed or eligible to obtain NYSED licensure.
• Ability to lead and mentor residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform life-changing joint replacement and revision surgeries to restore mobility and independence.
• Collaborate with surgical leaders to elevate RRH as a destination for complex joint procedures.
• Mentor residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers to develop orthopedic leadership.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
