Job summary

Center of Hope in Reno, NV is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist for a full-time, on-site role. The physician will provide specialized care for gynecologic cancers, perform minimally invasive and robotic surgeries, and oversee chemotherapy and other oncologic treatments.

Responsibilities include reviewing imaging and pathology, participating in tumor boards, and coordinating with radiation oncology and palliative care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and OB/GYN residency completed.
• Fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology; board certification or eligibility.
• Active Nevada medical license and ability to obtain hospital privileges in Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Perform minimally invasive and complex surgical procedures.
• Oversee chemotherapy and other oncologic treatments.
• Coordinate care with radiation oncology, palliative care, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review diagnostic imaging and pathology results; participate in tumor boards.
• Engage in shared decision-making with patients and families; contribute to quality improvement.
• Support education for staff and trainees; participate in research or clinical trials where applicable.
