Job summary

MercyOne Genesis is seeking a General Surgeon for our Silvis, IL campus. Join a supportive team of five surgeons with OR and outpatient clinic access for pre/post op visits, and a 1:5 call group including trauma coverage.

The ideal candidate is BE/BC, with interest in breast, colon, gallbladder, appendectomy, thyroid and related procedures. A DaVinci Robot is available to enhance surgical capabilities.

Qualifications

• BE/BC board-certified general surgeon.
• Experience in OR and outpatient settings.
• Ability to handle 1:5 trauma call.

Responsibilities

• Perform general surgery procedures including breast, colon, gallbladder, appendectomy, thyroid and other operations.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
