Job summary

Bastian Solutions is seeking a Robotic Cell Safety Engineer to design and validate safety systems for warehouse robotic installations near Detroit. You will conduct risk assessments per RIA TR R15.306, design safety-rated control circuits, select and configure safety scanners and light curtains, and perform safety system validation.

Qualifications include 4+ years in machine or robotic safety, expertise in ISO standards, and experience with safety PLCs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of machine safety or robotic safety engineering experience.
• Expertise in ISO 13849, ISO 10218, and ANSI/RIA R15.06 safety standards.
• Experience with safety PLC programming (Allen-Bradley GuardLogix, Pilz).
• Proficiency with risk assessment methodologies.
• Safety scanner and light curtain selection and configuration.
