Job summary

Aerotek in Bedford, PA is seeking a 1st Shift Robot Welder/Operator. You will read SOPs, load parts into fixtures, close clamps, and unload the robot, with basic mechanical duties and some tack welding. Experience with CNC machines or welding and crane operation is preferred, with precision and attention to detail to ensure quality in every part. This contract-to-hire role is onsite with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in production and general labor, especially with CNC machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read SOPs and blueprints.
• Basic welding skills, including spot welding.
• Crane operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret SOPs accurately.
• Load parts into fixtures and ensure proper clamping.
• Operate the robot welder by loading and unloading parts.
• Perform basic tack welding as required.
• Operate overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
• Ensure quality control by paying close attention to detail in all tasks.
