Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain automated robotic welding systems for sheet metal.
• Operate MIG/GMAW equipment to produce quality welded assemblies.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks on thin-gauge sheet metal parts.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and accuracy.
• Read and follow work instructions and production specs.
• Inspect welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy.
• Monitor equipment and identify potential issues.

Robot Welder Description

Duties and Requirements

• Set up, operate, and maintain automated robotic welding systems to join sheet metal components.
• Operate robotic MIG/GMAW welding equipment to produce quality welded assemblies.
• Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks involving thin-gauge and precision sheet metal parts.
• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and height gauges, to verify part dimensions and accuracy.
• Read and follow work instructions and production specifications to ensure accurate welding and fabrication.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated sheet metal components for quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Monitor robotic welding equipment and identify potential welding or production issues.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Welding, metal fabrication, and precision measurement experience preferred.
