HireArt is helping our client hire a motivated, entry-level Robot Service Technician Assistant in Waco, TX. This part-time, weekend-based contract role supports daily operations, maintenance, and preparations of our delivery robots.

You will prepare robots for deployment, manage charging cycles, perform basic repairs, and assist with software updates while learning foundational robotics skills in a fast-growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare robots for the shift: Ensure all hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.
• Put robots/batteries on chargers for the night: Manage power cycles to ensure maximum fleet readiness.
• Cleaning robots: Maintain physical appearance and protect sensitive external hardware.
• Perform mechanical repairs: Assist with and execute basic repairs on the robot fleet.
• Perform service campaigns: Help implement widespread hardware or software updates across the fleet.
• Assist remote support coordinators: Act as the hands-on field contact for the remote tracking team.
• Perform calibrations and wheel alignment: Ensure sensors and chassis components are properly tuned for safe navigation.
• Keep workshop clean and tidy: Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace for the entire technical team.

Expected compensation: 23.00 - 25.00 USD Per Hour

As a Robot Service Technician Assistant, You'll

• Prepare robots for the shift: Ensure all hardware and software are ready for daily deployment.

This is a part-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It is onsite and available to candidates local to the Waco, TX area.
