Job summary

Service Robot Co. is seeking a field service technician to install, maintain and repair commercial robots at customer sites. You will work on-site with remote specialist support to resolve issues promptly and ensure smooth operation.

You will complete an online training course, then in-person training and industry certifications. You must be able to travel to sites, handle weather conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs. Paid per work order with paid training.

Qualifications

• Practical experience fixing or maintaining equipment. Field service, appliance repair, low-voltage work, and facilities maintenance backgrounds are useful.
• Reliability, clear communication, and accurate job records.
• Willingness to ask for help and report mistakes.
• Availability to drive to customer sites, work in different weather conditions, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install robots and verify proper operation at customer sites.
• Find and fix mechanical, electrical, and software problems.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance to prevent failures.
• Explain the problem and repair steps to the customer.
• Record each visit with photos, job notes, and customer sign-off.
• Keep tools and spare parts ready for field work.
• Follow site and equipment safety procedures.

The role

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in-person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. The Academy is certificate training that we subsidize. Your first job is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
