Service Robot Co. is seeking a hands-on field service technician to visit customer sites in the Philadelphia area to install, maintain, and repair commercial robots. The role is on-site with support from a remote specialist.

You will diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and software issues, carry out scheduled maintenance, and record each visit with notes and customer sign-off. Safety procedures must be followed.

Work is contract-based and paid per work order at $25 to $55 per hour.

The role

Visit customer sites to install, maintain, and repair commercial robots. You will work on site with support from a remote specialist.

• Keep your tools and spare parts ready.
• Follow site and equipment safety procedures.

What we are looking for

• Practical experience fixing or maintaining equipment. Field service, appliance repair, low-voltage work, and facilities maintenance are useful backgrounds.
• Reliability, clear communication, and accurate job records.
• Willingness to ask for help and report mistakes.
• Availability to drive to customer sites, work in different weather conditions, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Previous Robotics Experience Is Not Required.

Training

You will complete an online course through our Service Robot Co. Academy, followed by in-person training and the industry certifications needed for this role. The Academy is certificate training that we subsidize. Your first job is paid, with a specialist supporting you remotely.
